It has been a few years since the Northern Essex Registry of Deeds moved to our current office at 1 Union Street in Lawrence, MA. Since then, we’ve had a number of calls from folks wondering where to park. It IS a little bit confusing!
Our address says Union Street, but that’s not where you’ll find our parking spaces.
To get to our free parking lot – and the parking spaces we reserve for our visitors – you’ll need to turn on to Island Street. If you get to Island St. from Union St., you’ll take your first right. If you’re crossing the bridge to Island St. from Canal St., the driveway will be your first left. After you turn, make your way down the hill past Spicket River Brewery. Follow the blue Registry signs to our entrance. Free reserved visitor parking spaces are out front.
