Consumer Notification Service / Property Watch Service

Customer service is our top priority at the Northern Essex County Registry of Deeds. Register M. Paul Iannuccillo is proud to offer a free notification tool, which alerts homeowners when a new document is recorded in their name and address. If you own real estate in one of the four cities and towns of Andover, Lawrence, Methuen or North Andover, you can subscribe to this service, free of charge.

Please note that our notification system queries records by name and address. Because of this, you may receive alerts about other people with the same name. If you have any questions about this, please contact Registry Customer Service at 978-557-1900.

If you receive a notification that a document has been recorded in your name or address, please contact the Northern Essex Registry immediately at 978-557-1900 and one of our customer service specialists will look up the record for you and provide you with a free copy. If you suspect the document is fraudulent, feel free to contact the Office of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Attorney General at 617-727-2200 and the Essex County District Attorney’s Office at 978-745-6610.

Please note: The accuracy of this service is dependent upon the accuracy of the information entered when signing up and upon the accuracy of the information contained in the documents submitted to the Registry of Deeds for recordation. See Registry website for Registry Consumer Notification/Property Watch Service liability disclaimers. By using the website system, you are agreeing to the disclaimers.
