Notary Public

If you are currently a Notary and your commission is expiring you can renew your Notary right here at the Berkshire Middle Registry of Deeds. Approximately sixty days before your commission expires, you should fill out the Notary Renewal Application and pay the $60.00 renewal fee to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Please contact the Secretary of the Commonwealths Office for details. When this process is complete you will receive an appointment certificate. Bring the certificate of appointment with you to the Berkshire Middle Registry of Deeds and we will administer the Notary Oath (note: you must take the oath within 90 days of your appointment date). Our service is free and no appointment is necessary.
