Register’s Bio

Patricia Harris is the 14^th Register to serve the Berkshire Middle District since its inception in 1790. As the keeper of our most valuable records, Patricia maintains an accurate, dependable and reliable account of every parcel of land lying within said Middle District.

A native of Pittsfield, Patricia graduated from Saint Joseph’s Central High School and subsequently from Berkshire Community College and the American Institute for Paralegal Studies before beginning her career in what would turn out to be a life-long profession researching and managing land records.

Prior to her election as Register, Patricia was a paralegal and owned and operated her own title searching business. Currently, Patricia is proudly serving as the President of the Massachusetts Registers and Assistant Registers of Deeds Association. Patricia resides in the rural Town of Hinsdale, Massachusetts and is fully committed to serving all of the members in each of the communities that make up the Berkshire Middle District.
