Please be aware that the Dukes County Courthouse and the Registry of Deeds will be closed to the public until further notice due to an emergency work to the heating system.
We will send out updates as the situation unfolds and continue to work with county and state officials to determine the best way to move forward. The Registry will operate remotely and all in person research appointments for this week will be canceled and can be rescheduled at a later date. In the case that a document must be dropped off to be recorded/registered, please write to [email protected]. All documents that are submitted electronically will be filed as usual.
