In a statement released Tuesday 9/15/20 by the Associate Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court, all courthouses across the Commonwealth will be closed Friday 9/18/20 in order to honor the memory of Chief Justice Ralph D. Gants. The Registry of Deeds will operate remotely and all in person research appointments will rescheduled to a later date.
We will process all e-recordings submitted Friday as planned. If you have a closing that is registered land, cannot be e-filed or rescheduled to a later date, please contact the Registry to setup a time to have documents picked up from the drop box located behind the building at 81 Main St, Edgartown.
