Administration of Oath of Office<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We administer oaths of office for newly appointed or renewing Notaries and others required to take an oath\u00a0IN GREATER LOWELL<\/strong>. If you live elsewhere, there are many places around the Commonwealth where you may\u00a0take your oath<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to take your oath here at the Registry of Deeds in the Lowell Justice Center, please call 978-322-9000 to make an appointment.<\/strong> You must have paid your $60 fee and received your Notary Certificate signed by the Governor before you may make an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Registry of Deeds does not notarize documents. Documents should be notarized before dropping them at the registry for recording.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
