Register\u2019s Bio<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hampshire Register of Deeds, Mary Olberding is currently serving her second term having been first elected in 2012. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Registers and Assistant Registers of Deeds Association for six years including three as President of the Association. She has also served on the Technology, Legislative and the Deeds Indexing Standards Committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since her term began in 2013, the Register has increased the efficiency and accessibility of the office by implementing electronic recording, digitizing the card catalog, updated the deeds indexing standards and back indexed records to the 1920\u2019s. This website is another effort to continuously improve the service at the Hampshire Registry of Deeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Register Olberding graduated from Xavier University in her native Cincinnati, Ohio with a B.A. in History. She holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management from Emmanuel College in Boston, finishing first in her graduating class in 1994. She worked as a Human Resources Manager before caring for her three children full-time at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to serving as Register, Mary was active in her town of Belchertown where she served on the Finance Committee for four years. In her spare time, she works to advance opportunities for women in leadership.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
