Register’s Message
Maria T. Ziemba began her term as Register on January 2, 2019.
She graduated from Hoosac Valley High School and Bay Path Junior College. Her career has always been centered around real estate. In 1986 she worked as a
real estate paralegal for a solo practitioner in North Adams, MA until February, 1997 when she entered the doors of the Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds as a clerk working her way forward
and seizing her opportunity to run in the Election of 2018.
Her experience and dedication to this office and her love for the history of our documents is why she wants to be the ever-present face of the Registry where she holds service to the public in highest regard.
Maria was born in Adams and has resided in Adams her entire life where she raised her five children: Angela, Erika, Timothy Jr., Emma and Thomas.
